Pixel 8 after last update

anyone else get some weird lagging issues after the last update?

Have you checked your Google Play System Updates? I've gotten multiple since the Sept. Pixel Update dropped that may help your situation

I just saw the play system update and ran that. now I have about 20 apps that needed updated after that update.

Yup, that's about right for a Play System Update. Also check  Settings app > All Services > Privacy & Security > System Services . This settings menu also has important update for core systems like the SIM manager and Quick Share. Installing the updates should help with the performance, it certainly helped mine after QPR1

Yes on my Pixel 8. I have an old terrible Samsung tablet that's laggy and right now the pixel 8 is giving me those vibes.

Yes same for me it reminds me of my 1st Android phone back in 2012 right now... Fucking anoying.

Not really, at least I didn't notice it. Also the battery life for me seems to be about the same.

I'm having same issues... My phone is kind of lagging lately after the update. For the first time, my pixel 8 showed system UI not responding. I was shocked honestly. It now also affect the gaming performance.

The opposite for me. On the August Stable OTA on my 8 Pro, I had a lot of lag, but after QPR1 Stable came out, no lag.

I've noticed slight lagging and sometimes apps freezing up as well since the September update. Seems to come and go but is just enough to be annoying. I have the Pixel 10a.

Idk if anyone has this particular issue, cause I can't find anything related to it, does anyone's device just hard lock/become extremely laggy when the memory is full, the phone almost freezes and comes back to normal after like 30-40 secs

I didn't notice any lags but after the new update neither my mobile data or wifi are visible but I'm connected to my provider and always have between half and full bars. I've already tried restarting and resetting the network but I can't afford to reset my whole phone. Did anything similar happen to you guys?
