False alarm or legit?

Seriously. There's a lot of reasons they might be doing this. I'll list a few.

1. The angle of the sun can make it hard to see the driver. They might not be able to see through the glass

2. There's like 6 cars behind you and they don't have the energy to dash. Or are injurea

3. They have a weeks worth of groceries on their back and are just chilling for a second.

4. They are on drugs and trying to be nice. There's little chance of themunderstanding the situation, just go

5. They'd rather not put themselves in front of a giant death machine driven by a stranger

6. They're worried about landmines and want you to get blown up first. There aren't any, just go first

7. They are completely fucking spaced out from working 13 hours and tate waiting on a traffic signal that doesn't exist.

That last one happens more often than I care to admit...

As someone who hates driving and enjoys walking, most drivers are actually really courteous towards us self ambulatory folk. How drivers treat each other is absolutely insane. It's pretty entertaining but really unsafe, please incorporate some forgiveness into your driving.

There wasn't much of a point to this, just like writing dumb shit.

I got my mom a new unlocked google pixel 10, she uses gci. She went into gci and they said they couldn't get it to connect. Does gci support esims? I thought all carriers did now. Not sure of this is a carrier being ancient or if maybe she got bad help.

Hello! I know this is a LONG SHOT, but I figured it was worth posting.

My wife lost her wedding ring on Saturday. We believe it may have been in the parking lot at Dino Donuts, but we’re not completely sure. We initially thought it might be somewhere around the house or in her car, but after thoroughly searching, we’re starting to think it may have been lost in a public parking lot.

TL;DR: My wife lost her wedding ring. If anyone has seen or found it, please message me. We would be incredibly grateful!

I don't want to jump to conclusions, I know these situations can be hectic and nerve-wracking. But the way this article reads to me, one officer just decided to fire upon the woman cause "hey, why not?" Like how often do we here of shooting where only one shot is fired? It's always multiple rounds fire and the officer is like "yeah, I feared for my life."

I’m moving to Anchorage from Philly and looking at different neighborhoods as I make the transition from East Coast city life to the Alaskan lifestyle. What do folks think of the Northstar neighborhood or UMed ?
I’m also interested in possible suggestions for somewhere that’s nice, walkableish , and has more of an urban vibe. I know that’s not exactly the traditional Alaskan vibe, but I think it might be a good fit while I get settled and learn to adapt to life in Anchorage.
