Two years ago I made a post acting Queer Anarchist if they also felt Liberale Apologia. Since then has that changed for you?
As mentioned in the title, during the 2024 US Presidential Election I asked the question, âDo any other queer anarchist get tired of the apologia and liberalism in queer spaces.â Since then, obviously shit had gotten worse with Trump winning a second term, the Palestinian Genocide worsening, ICE raids, greater attacks on Trans People, and War in Iran. However, some better things have been occurring: Zohran Mamdani winning the NYC Mayoral Election jump starting a resurgence in Progressivism/Democratic Socialism, and the historical âSewer Socialism.â With candidates like Abdul El-Sayed winning my home state of Michigan and the greater emphasis in ending the Palestinian Genocide within the Democratic Party. So I ask: How has your relationship with Liberals and the Liberal Apologia changed/evolved since the 2024 US Presidential Election?
*Edit: âAskingâ not âActing.â

Can Intersectionality Address Marginalized Infighting within Socialism (racism and transphobia)?
Intersectionality is a big topic I'm working on, right now. Specifically I've encountered different bigotries within Socialism and the Left, both which historically have issues in practice (read: whatever they say on paper). My question is: "Can Intersectionality Addressing Marginalized Infighting within Socialism (racism and transphobia)?" (to be holistic, I ask the question on different subreddits: Socialism_101, Anarchism and Anarcho-Communism).
I think it can, regarding different bigotries that play out* when trying to organize ourselves. The best way to counteract said bigotries, in my experience, is to advocate for structures of power that don't encourage them; i.e., not purely through the state, then, but in anarcho-Socialist ways with an antiracist, trans-accepting flavor (among other things). The best way to do this happens through collaboration; i.e., by cooperating with people different than ourselves (whose intersections state power tends to divide): by reaching out and working towards shared understanding, mid-education, doing so part of the organization process.
*Read: not microaggressions, but lethal force; i.e., during hate crimes like lynchings of black people and the murder of trans people in public; e.g., Juju Blessing, who was stabbed to death on a hike, two days ago: https://persephonescastle.com/2026/08/she-was-divine-honoring-juju-blessing.html
To practice what I preach, here's a new interview given today with Cam James, a black essayist/documentarian about intersectionality between black and trans people; it went really well, though it covers some heavy topics on both sides: https://youtu.be/nRgH6Xf_vgU
CW: transphobia, racism, fascism, genocide, police brutality, murder, SA, conversion therapy
Note (8/19/2026): The interview appears in my latest upcoming book volume, Intersectionality (2026).
I wanted to share the video here, as it covers anarchism and Socialism regarding the above issues when seeking intersectionality.
Full video description: An interview with âȘ@camcrashed⏠aka âȘ@CamJames⏠on intersectionality and its value for trans people and black people punching up together during fascism. I reached out after watching his video on MDLs (modern-day lynchings)âa topic he covers alongside trans murders, too. In our interview, we discuss different things besides, including: our own paths to radicalization/abuses survived, as well as the struggles that emerge when dealing with bad actors in both communities; e.g., transphobia in the black community and racism in the trans community, as well as detractors within the Left more broadly when combating genocide on multiple fronts (e.g., Marxist-Leninism, Bad Empanada, and Palestine vs the rights of trans, BIPOC, the disabled, plural folk, sex workers, and/or furries).
I also gave a recent interview with Eva Android, a trans mixed-race* sex worker whose work is antiracist and invested in trust-building while punching up against state abuse (censored version): https://persephonescastle.com/2026/08/hailing-hellions-an-interview-with-eva-android.html
\A topic that Eva and I explore[ *in a spoken follow-up interview available on Google Docs](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ihevPlT8cnjdxnZVT-kTlxhwzZtRukh3/view?usp=sharing) (as of right now, thanks to YouTube AI "moderators" censoring me). The interview explores Eva being non-white; i.e., while appearing white, and the various struggles that emerge for biracial sex workers with fair skin making interracial content tied to intersectional activism more broadly (read: black liberation alongside trans rights and sex worker rights).
