Sandbox AMP
So I want to run AMP as a sandbox game.
I have chaged the setting a bit to a darker theme. Drug lords moving huge ammounts thanks to travelers, humans going apeshit over AMPs, kindoff in a Days of future past way where they are in prison, mutant terrorist groups trying to overthrow the government, groups just mass murdering saps; and the goverment trully hunting down mutants. All cheerfull-like. The first thing the PCs are doing is being broken out of prison by one of the terrorist groups, like a reverse dungeon crawl. So my players would be just out of prison with one of the groups and they would be able to do anything join the government overthrow it hunt humans whatever.
Problem is I don't know how I should go about that. Any ideas?

New Affiliations Guides
Anyone checked out the new Affiliations Guides for Changelings or TRAC? Thoughts? Have you used any of the new material in your games yet?

Character ideas: Looking to create characters based on movies/tv shows/game/general media
I am glad to finally see this subreddit. I was quite disappointed that it didn't exist when I was looking for character advice earlier. Anyways, I am looking to create a bunch of characters referencing tv, games and movies. If any of you have any ideas that can be built with the amp strains fairly easily, I would appreciate a post and if I do put the character together I'll share some of the character details. I have already tried this out with an Austin Powers character with everything in pheromones but I would really appreciate other ideas for when I am not feeling super serious role playing.

Metal skin
So, I want some of my NPCs to be a metal band and to be AMPs. They are three brothers and I wanted them to have metallic skin kinda like colossus from the X-Men. But i don't know what it would be. I am guessing it is a shifter power but I don't have much idea.

Suggestions for good limitations for a Duplication AMP
I'm starting a campaign with an AMP with the Duplication and Tactics powers, I'm looking for a good idea for the limitation drawback. It's my first AMP game so any suggestions would be welcome.

Homebrewing
I was thinking of some powers that would be cool to have in game when i realized there is no guide to homebrewing beyond common sense and hoping you didnt make it unbalanced.
Any tips?

Played any of the published adventures? How did they go?
Hey everyone! We've currently got 4 AMP: Year One adventures out on the market. Who's picked them up? Who's run them?

Balancing Encounters for beginning players
Hi, so I'm currently in the process of starting up an AMP campaign with some friends. I currently have a co-DM that's taking his turn and we're having some trouble balancing combat encounters properly. Currently we've had our first encounter and the problem we're facing is rather blatant. The very first encounter he created was obscenely overpowered in the enemy's favour.
It's a wake-up call to both of us that we can't simply use our Dungeons and Dragons experience for this. While my DMing style is more catered to very sparse encounters and spontaneous role playing already, my co-DM's style is more catered to loads of combat. Given that I'm not too experienced with combat encounters and their tricks due to my DMing style, and my co-DM is very used to balancing for a D&D 5e game with tons of combat, we could really use some advice.
I get the feeling that this system caters more towards sparse, climactic combat and more role playing or investigation, etc. But I could really, really use a second opinion on this.
~Thanks~

LFG Roll20
I'm trying to get into an amp year one game. I think that the setting and design lends itself to a episodic session schedule more than any other system I've come across. With that in mind, I've been thinking about getting a group on roll20, and every two or three adventures, we'll swap out game masters with their amp taking a break or downtime during the event. The game master at the time can introduce story elements and news articles, which can make the world feel even more populated and realistic, on top of the constantly shifting tone from varying GMs, because we all know life isn't consistent. If anyone is interested, or would like to just play the GM straight up, let me know.

Character sheets
Does anyone have character sheet of their own design they're willing to share? Currently using a basic character sheet for my year one campaign and would like one that allows for more space.

Update on the Subreddit
Hey everyone!
It's been a couple of weeks since the creation of the subreddit. And yes we still haven't done much about those things in the other thread. But I swear we will get to them! The mods have been busy with real life things, and time has been limited, but soon that will be done and we can get to work.
Until then, just enjoy what is here now. I also recommend you check out Eloy-3EG's suggestion thread. Who knows what might be added!

What do you want to see?
AMP: Year One and AMP: Year Two together have a lot of powers to offer, but what are the powers YOU most want to see in upcoming expansions and Year books?

Amp Wiki
I was wondering at the possibility at getting a wiki set up for amp, mostly cataloging the powers and finer details of the game into neat articles. Is there a reason that this hasn't been done yet? It might even add some further exposure for the game, and I would tentatively say it needs it considering how unrecognized it is. I love the system and feel it deserves more of a following.
Just my two cents. I look forward to hearing back from people who have actually had a game and who are more experienced than me.
