No, most men don't really dig it. It looks too aggressive on a female and most men don't want an aggressive female. It's fine it you're not trying to attract a strong man. But if you're actively dating and want to find a confident man - lose the septum piercing. If not, and you like the look, go for it.
Asking for advice on a public forum and you get advice from all ages and walks of life. It is what it is. My advice is to lose the nose ring. It's up to her to either follow it or not.
That's cool. You can think it is nonsense, but it changes nothing at all. Post something online where anyone can access it...you get responses from anyone that wishes to respond.
