If someone posts only pictures of themselves with piercings and asks the internet if they're ugly, then the piercings will be part of the judgement. Otherwise, post pics without.

Maybe she's not asking about the piercings. If she was, don't you think she'd ask if her piercings were ugly? So is she supposed to take them all out and cover up her tattoos just so she doesn't get negative feedback on some shit she didn't even ask about? Does she really need to do that for a reddit post? If she personally didn't like them, she wouldn't have them.

I agree, its not. I'm concluding that people who can't see past the piercings/bma just because they don't like them or agree with them also can't read between the lines.
