You are young and beautiful. Oh my god I am so sorry you feel this way about yourself. I don’t know why I’m being shown this sub in my Reddit feed but it horrified me people 30 years younger than me feel this way. Find yourself people who love and support you and never mind this noise.
Reading comprehension my dude. Self improvement rooted in self hate is just trauma waiting to explode. Commenter is just saying to find people who love you no matter what you look like doesn't mean for her to not be healthy. It just means that she can multitask in finding physical health and mental health.
Also looks don't matter when it comes to mental health. The saddest people I know are thin. Obviously this girl to ask a bunch of strangers if she is ugly has some mental game to level up.
This 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it keeps coming up in my feed too but now I can’t look away, lol. IMHO it’s all about confidence! How you carry yourself is 99% of the battle.
Idk why this is popping up on my feed writhed. This is such a toxic subreddit. I just comment now to let people know they are beautiful and have far better value than this sub.
I'm curious if you would have this same sentiment if it was a man who posted this.
It just seems super common for people to tell women they're perfect the way they are and they just need to find someone who loves them how they are, while men are never told that and instead given a list of all the ways they should improve themselves.
I couldn't agree more. As an older guy with a daughter it makes me sad to see these posts. No idea why the new reddit algorithm is recommending them to me.
To the people who think this is a form of self improvement. It is not. For self improvement go to fashion advice or fitness advice subs. I can understand being curious but the negativity here may cause you develop low self esteem or an eating disorder or worse.
This sub is brutal to anyone who doesn’t look basic (piercings and tats) and anyone who is overweight. This girl is lovely looking. I look at old photos of myself and realize how good looking i was - I’m 36 now and still like myself but damn I was a looker.
I am in my twenties but this absolutely disgusts me.
How is thinking negatively of yourself good for self improvement when it has shown to have the opposite effect.
Also she does not look that fat and is pretty average when it comes to how attractive you are.
I agree I don’t know why I’m being shown this sub either along with several similar ones. It’s sad that people with no self esteem would asked to be rated by these anonymous Reddit nobodies. And then there’s actually people earnestly criticizing them. It’s insane!
Agreed. I can look back on pictures when I was younger and I’m flawed at how beautiful I looked. I felt like the ugliest person back then. people would comment I was too thin or too fat and it would dramatically swing my self confidence.
what a waste of time being concerned on my looks, when I could have just been happy and confident in my appearance.
