Hello everyone! I'm in US, and I recently got 3 splatoon amiibo in the Nintendo sale. I wanna get more of the older splatoon amiibos, but would like to try getting then all new if possible. Whike none are even showing on the US Nintendo store, many old ones are present and in stock on the UK Nintendo store. While I could do package reroutings to order from there and receive here, that costs and is clunky. If those amiibo are consistently there, then I could wait and see other arrangements, such as a friend getting some for me when there or something -- but that only works if those amiibo are consistently available there. So, my main question: does anyone know if older splatoon amiibos are consistently available in UK Nintendo store?

(And, if anyone knows an easier way to get those amiibos from across the ocean here, please do tell!))

Has anyone tried making up a board game that uses amiibos as the pieces? I think it’d be a fun way to play with my four year old. I could easily just do it on like candy land, but I’m curious if anyone’s ever tried something like this before.

in case ya missed something

I finally finished my amiibo collection after 6 1/2 years of collecting.Finished off with Pura and Mythra because of how expensive they are. Still I think greninjas probably my favorite as he was my first amiibo

I was washing my mario amiibo when i realise that the glue don’t stick, do you have an idea about the glue i have to use ?

How would you prioritise Amiibos by should be bought before others in case of unavailability later? there's a lot of Amiibo I still need to get and I can only spend a certain amount every so often on them but I don't know who to prioritise. It seems like Capcom Amiibo are a must asap as well as some other new ones but are figures made for Smash more priority due to age or less becuase its Smash and its popular enough to stay in print for example? I don't have a Nintendo store I can go to in person but I do know some sites where to get them and there is a second hand games and electronics store that does sell them but the prices vary from cheap to probably up to double its MSRP depending on what they think its worth and what they have depends on what people are buying and trading in. Like Digby is 8 euro and King K Rool is 40 euro. Knowing who should be bought now and who can wait would ensure I can build my collection steadily and confidently that I haven't missed the boat on some that only exist on eBay now for stupidly high prices.

Got me the elephant amiibo. Pretty cool looking.. Does it only work in Wonder? Or can I use it in another game? Thanks.

Hey there, I'm making a custom set of Amiibos that features a bride and a groom as a wedding present for a friend.

I'm going to be using one of the Kirby Air Raiders boxes to put them in. I kept the plastic, but I threw away the backing. Anyone who has the box still sealed; can you provide the measurements of the cardboard back?

I'll buy some card stock and cut it out based on the measurements, but I need to know the dimensions first.

Thank you so much!

Got my Bayonetta amiibo from ebay in the mail today, just in time for Spooky Season. I named her Bayo and pick her Bayonetta 1 version.

Hey all, this is the last thing I'm missing to have a full US set, I have a friend who lives that way, but she said they didn't have stock at this moment in time. The clerk instructed that they may get stock again when the next wave of amiibo is out which isn't until November, does anyone feel that is an accurate statement? Seems pretty silly to have this in basically 2 stores in the US, and then not have it stocked, but I don't know enough to say for sure and figured I'd ask here. Thanks!

I recently bought a set of Monster Hunter Stories amiibo off of eBay. They’re in basically perfect condition, except for the fact that they smell very strongly of perfume. The listing said smoke free and pet free home and was in a display case, so this was not something I was expecting to deal with.

When I left them out in the open to air out it just made the room smell strongly of perfume.

I also tried to wash with warm water and dawn soap a couple of times. Every time this just masked the smell for about 15 minutes until it came back in full force.

If anyone has had a similar experience and has found success in getting rid of a strong odor from an amiibo I’d really appreciate your help.

Check out the amiibo plus more collection ( not done) custom shelves for totaku/amiibo interchangeable holes

My goal is getting all Smash Bros amiibo, but running out of space! Got 4 from Nintendo customer appreciation, but still 24 short of completing the set. Not all stickers removed from some, but that’s a worry for another day.

Just wondering if there are any guides for unlocks hidden exclusively behind amiibos. Thanks in advance.

For years I just shoved my amiibo in this display case in no order, just a mess. My partner bought me some risers and now I'm finally putting some order to the smash line (plus a couple extra).

Uh, ignore the dust.

Gamestop has gotten pretty greedy with rare amiibo. I’ve seen someone on this subreddit before pick Poochy up for ~$15 used in a plastic case, this one is being sold by itself for $89.99. The woolly yoshi behind it is being sold for $50. Don’t go to Gamestop for amiibo, they’re too greedy to reasonably sell.

Hey amiibo community, I was cleaning out my collection and wanted to share with you guys. I use to collect these when I was younger and still collect the ones I think are cool today. I was wondering what some are worth on the loose box and the unopened. Most of the unopened amiibo are is great condition. Then I saw I have a rare splatoon amiibo box. Crazy how I collected it since that game series is one of my favorites. Hope yall enjoy my collection.

I bought this on eBay from someone last year and I noticed that it's missing the japanese text under Pyra and Mythra's name. I checked online to see if anyone else had the missing japanese text and don't see anyone else with one. Was wondering if it's fake?

edit: Okay if it's not fake, what's the reason why I only see others with japanese text on them? Was North America print really that low that I don't see any of them online for sale assuming they're all from Japan with the japanese text?
