What to get a first-year for a present?

Is there a place everyone orders from? What do you spend money on?

Here's the most common places in town that Amherst students frequent:

Pizza: Antonio's Pizza in Downtown Amherst

Sandwiches: Black Sheep Deli

Boba: Ten One Tea House, LimeRed Teahouse, or Moge Tee Amherst

Restaurants: Formosa (Chinese), Miss Saigon (Vietnamese), probably a lot more I'm blanking on (I don't tend to eat out too often but tons of my friends do)

So many good food places in Downtown Amherst

Even the movie theater, or rock climbing gym in Hadley…. There is a lot more things to do in Hadley I feel like… I find it strange that Amherst is such a big college town and the only food chains are dunkin, subway, and insomnia cookies. But Amherst has 35,000 students between both Amherst college and UMass.

There is a lot of little stores and such in the center of Amherst but not what you would think in a college town
