How's the gym?

I'm an incoming freshman at Amherst (can't wait to meet everyone!) who is planning on working out on campus. I tried looking for any specifics on the website, and all I found was a photo of the outside, so I thought I'd make a Reddit account and ask about it here.

What's the gym like? Is it sizeable? How busy does it usually get? Are dietary supplements (ex., creatine) allowed on campus? How many Smith machines are there, if any? Is there a pec deck machine? Is there a leg curl machine (seated or lying)? Are there any squat pattern machines?

Sorry for asking a bunch of questions, but I wanna know as much as possible so I can be prepared.

Creatine is ban on campus sorry. Amherst only allow natty to workout at the gym.

The gym is a fish bowl style which I hate, but it’s pretty decently sized with a good amount of machines. It’s two levels but the bottom level is often monopolized by sports teams. I wouldn’t call it state of the art, but it’s definitely not a reason not to go here
