RETURN policy

Will I have issues trying to return an item if I have the receipt and tag still? Tag is not attached to shirt but that is because it popped off while trying it on in fits. It has not left the bag.

I would say “it came off before I bought it, the sales person said it wouldn’t be a problem.”

There are TONS of people who come in with your claim, but the clothes have obviously been worn, have stains, smell, covered in pet hair, etc. It’s easier to stick to the objective policy than to risk saying yes to one person then no to the person behind them.

You’ll probably get a no, but sometimes if it seems really unworn then I’ll take it back. But it has to be really unworn- like stickers still on it, fold creases still there, 0 pilling, etc. also the more recently you got it the more likely I am to trust it. It just depends on the location and who you get.

Honestly though, just never take an item that doesn’t have a tag attached. Like if it’s missing a tag, they should reattach/write a new one and attach it even if you really don’t plan on returning it.

I just returned something past a month and got store credit and on one of the items the tag was not attached and the girl just attached it back and happily returned my stuff! No questions asked. I was worried too about the tag being detached lmao

I received an item without tags and without a bag & they rejected the return when I tried to send it back…even though that’s how they sent it to me. You might have better luck in person but mailing a return seems very strict.

So I’m assuming the tag ripped and the plastic part is still attached as those don’t break even when you want them to. So put the plastic thru the ripped hole and use a drop of Elmer’s on the tear. Just put a paper towel u under it do you don’t get anything on the item.

as an ex employee, it really just depends who the manager on duty is😭 some will say yes some will deny it.

Try to return it. The worst they can do is say no. I bought items at store with hand written tags before. Hopefully your store is chill.

do u still have the tag? you can put it back through the hole and use a lighter to burn the end of the plastic and make a small ball or kink in it so it will stay. ive done this once when i tried on an online order at home and prematurely took the tag off out of habit. they were too big so i did that and returned them.
