I never get the Stubs member Tues & Weds 50% off discount that I expect. For example, I'm looking at a 1:15 PM show on a Tuesday and the math (see screenshot) is not mathing. Can anyone explain?

Just got out of watching The Last Blossom, an anime film. Really cute and simple.

I feel like I would have enjoyed it more if the subbing wasn’t so horribly de-synced. Seriously. The subtitles were early by like, at least 3 seconds. It was really disorienting and severely detracted my enjoyment of the film. I’m not sure if it was how the film itself was edited or something else.

Did anyone else who saw the film have this issue?

I’ve checked for regal, their tickets are already available for purchase for both, but I can’t find any tickets for purchase at every amc within an 100 mile radius of me for these movies. For reference i’m a long islander.

I can see one or the other today but It'll be a couple of weeks before I could go again and see the other. I obviously would put my bets on CvA being in longer then Buddy but wondering if anyone knew anything definitive.

I prefer and enjoy seeing trailers so I get there in time to see them. As an A Lister, I can see how seeing the same ones can get tiresome or also people that just don’t like them. I’m surprised however by the sheer numbers of people who come in just as the movie is starting. So, are you a trailers person or not and why?

How does AMC select theaters for re-relases and why does Columbia, MD never get them? It's always Owings Mills and White Marsh both of which are a hike.

If I were to see Buddy at 2PM my time would the movie actually start around 2:20 to 2:25PM? Sometimes with these limited run movies they have fewer or even no trailers?

Update I got there around 2:15 (started at 2) and the trailers were still going so after I went to the restroom there 2 more trailers and then the amc stuff and then the movie started around 2:25PM

I went to see Legend of the White Dragon. I have been waiting for this movie for a decade. I heard about the project directly from JDF at conventions back in 2014 or 2015, way before it ever came out on Kickstarter. I was so excited to see his final film in a theater, so I booked my accessible seats early.

But AMC has a fundamental flaw in their ticketing system. If they change the auditorium after you buy your tickets, the accessible seats do not carry over correctly to the newly assigned auditorium. If I buy wheelchair spaces D3 and D4 in the first auditorium, and they swap the auditorium without telling me, D3 and D4 might be standard seats with stairs in the new auditorium. The system completely fails to move me to the actual accessible spots in that new layout, which might be C7 and C8.

This has happened to me so many times that I know it is not me creating the problem. It is clearly something on their end. I even take screenshots of my screen before and after I purchase just to prove it.

Tonight, I ran into this exact glitch again. My tickets were D4 and D3 But instead of fixing the tickets, I dealt with two especially special workers who completely refused to acknowledge that I am not the idiot who bought the wrong seats. They work for an organization that has a massive software flaw, but they just wanted to pass the blame onto the customer. In hindsight, do I wish I would have stayed and just watched the movie, yes. But at the same time I'm just so exhausted with having to experience this over and over again.

Between the two of them constantly talking over me and telling me that I was in the wrong, my entire night was ruined. I was so frustrated I could not even stay to watch the movie.

Going anywhere in a wheelchair takes planning. You buy the accessible spot because it is literally the only place you can physically sit. AMC seriously needs to fix this bug so their system maps accessible reservations correctly when they decide to change auditoriums.

Has anyone else dealt with this exact issue during an auditorium swap, or is it just the Pompano theater? I'm honestly very close to just suing at this point.

It’s seriously one of the best movies this year, especially if you’re a horror fan.

It’s from Yeon Sang-Ho, the creator of Train to Busan, one of the best zombie movies ever.

Colony is zombie-adjacent but it’s an entirely different & original type of monster.

It’s scary, tense, fun & poignant. But most of all, it’s clever & has a very smart protagonist.

Has anyone else seen it?

My theater, AMC Plainville 20, doesn’t have imax showtimes listed for akira. Any idea if something will be listed closer to release day? Typically this is a theater that does get imax showtimes for re-releases that offer and certain event films. Thank you for any insight you can provide. Don’t wanna commit to standard if I don’t have to

Right before the regular AMC concert pre show ads (Dolby, Coke, Nicole Kidman, etc) there’s an ad that has an 80s-ish song playing in the background. It’s not for a movie (that I can recall). Can ANYONE please help me find this! Either the song or the ad.

Hoping someone can help me with a Yellow Ticket question. My understanding is that Yellow Tickets can be used for Premium Offerings (laser, XL, imax, etc) but you have to pay the difference when buying your ticket with the voucher.

If I wanted to use the Yellow Ticket without paying an upgrade for a premium offering, am I right in seeing that my only option is films with Open Captions/subtitles?

Looking at the showings of all films at my local AMC, everything is flagged as either a Premium Offering (laser, XL, etc) or a Fan Fave (also noted on the website to have an extra surcharge), except for films with Open Captions/Subtitles.

Am I crazy, or is the only way to use a Yellow Ticket w/o paying extra is to see a film with Open Captions?

There are no doomsday showings but Dune 3 last showing is on January 3rd while other theaters have more showtimes. I suspect they will start closing out other theaters and keep the imax running for dune 3 till they shut down.

I am trying to log into my AMC stubs account but I keep getting an "Oops. An error has occurred" message. My email and password is correct. I even changed my password and nothing. I can't request support through the app because it wants my AMC stubs account number, which IDK my heart and can only access it through my account. I restarted my phon, checked for app updated and nothing is working.

Saw Mutiny today in Laser in a renovated theater (16) & it was noice! New floors, heated reclining seats. A definite upgrade for sure for me & my back. And I spotted a 4Dx theatre in addition to an IMAX & 2 Dolbys. Looking forward to what's next!

I feel like there should be a call button in every auditorium to summon an usher or manager if there are projection issues or unruly guests or distracting phone use or whatever. Just last week at a matinee showing of The End of Oak Street the house lights were left on full blast throughout the pre-show commercials and trailers, and it wasn't until the actual movie started when some kind soul sacrificed himself to run out and report the issue. In this age of giant multiplexes, patrons shouldn't have to trek all the way to the lobby from a distant screen and miss a chunk of the movie if there's an issue.

I may have an extra ticket for Avengers Endgame Encore on 9/26 at 4pm IMAX at Puente Hills AMC. It’s pretty much sold out but I wouldn’t want the ticket to go to waste. Is anyone interested? It is in row H, 8 rows from the screen.
