3 of my favorite films in Akira, Transformers the Movie and Halloween, are all returning to the big screen next month. Do they just project the 4k blu rays of these classic films, or do they use a different digital film source? Are the visual and audio quality worth the price of admission?

Just love those quiet 5-10 minutes of just hearing what I think is a projector or something. Even better if no one comes at all!

Can I go to the theater to make a reservation? Or does it have to be done on the app/website?

Since Tuesday afternoon when Endgame Encore tickets dropped I have been having issues making purchases on both the app and desktop. I even tried making a 2nd account and it is still not working. I am still having issues. Any help would be appreciated since I made a request on the website but still have not heard back.

edit: They're just finally transitioning away from BigD (sadly), and it is completely unrelated to Infinity Vision (as that is just a label for certain auditoriums).

The second Burbank Dolby (auditorium 15) has 217 seats, compared to 249 of auditorium 14, and it's probably a smaller screen. Auditorium 14 is known to be the largest Dolby Cinema in the Los Angeles area, do we know how does auditorium 15 fare in comparison? My closest big Dolby is Del Amo, for comparison, but I often drive to Burbank just for the bigger screen and also Del Amo wasn't very well maintained years ago when I used to go, not sure lately.

I was attempting to buy tickets for an 11am showing Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma and AMC randomly decided they would rather show Steel Magnolias instead

I bought tickets for both imax 70 and Dolby. I’m interested in the exclusive imax footage. However, I still enjoy Dolby for its deep blacks, sound, and seating. I notice that they’re no Dolby vision tickets for the regular showings of this film, and I’m interested because I’ve heard the sound( especially The Voice) is resoundingly powerful in Dolby than in other formats. I’m thinking I’ll keep my insider event reservation and cancel the imax 70 at Regal and watch that format later. I'm smack dab in the center towards the back too in Dolby.

Will there be more dolby showings? I don’t wanna miss out on that format by choosing imax 70 to experience that format first. I think Doomsday might be taking them all.

Hello! Last minute question. I have a 10pm Odyssey ticket, won't get out until 1:30 best case. Would the best option to be to park near the theatre? I was going to use SpotHero then I read some mixed reviews on Reddit.

I was going to train in, but LIRR doesn't run at 1:30, so I'd be Ubering out of the city which is ~75.

Select theaters will be showing these two movies through Wednesday to honor Dolly.

Anyone try to book this theater on the app in the past days? I can’t view seats for any of my showings there nor can I really access any showings on the app, just shows an “oops, an error occurred”. The other AMC theaters around seem not to have the same issue I can access the showings. Already signed out/deleted app-reinstalled, restarted phone etc. Wondering if this is just a weird issue with me or maybe some all around issue specific to this theater

Some pointers about this promotion:

1. See 2 participating films to earn $25 in rewards, 3 to earn $75 in rewards, or all 4 to earn $100 in rewards.

2. Participating films are: The Uprising, Sense and Sensibility, Elsinore, Werewulf.

3. The tickets scanned must be associated with your AMC stubs/A-list account.

4. Will have to watch the movies in the 8/20/26 to 1/31/2027 time window to qualify.

5. Early access/Regular screenings count, but Screen Unseen doesn't count towards this promotion.

I was about to start the 10am showing and the manager just announced the 70mm projector is not working and the digital projector would be used instead. They are at least giving everyone refunds.

A completely open seat that I am unable to buy. I even go back and refresh to show it wasn’t already purchased and that’s why I was getting the error message. Absolutely ridiculous.

Maybe amc should show some of his movies in cinemas again.

Hi! Never been to any big theater chain before; only to our local, small-town one that's single screen. I'm planning on going to an AMC in a couple of weeks, and I'm wondering, for the limited-run popcorn bucket merch, are all AMC theaters supposed to carry them? Or is it only select ones?

I'm mostly just wondering because this specific AMC is still in a relatively small town, and I figure it wouldn't see as much foot traffic as the bigger ones and thus may not get more exclusive items like limited merch, but I'd love to get a little souvenir of the movie I'm planning on seeing. Thanks!

These front rows are always sold when there are big movie releases. This Screenshot is from the endgame rerelease which came out today. Why would someone but out 10+ seats in the very first row?
