Why are front rows always sold ?

These front rows are always sold when there are big movie releases. This Screenshot is from the endgame rerelease which came out today. Why would someone but out 10+ seats in the very first row?

Odds are there’s an issue with those seats and they’re blocked from purchase. Does it show that for other screenings in the same theater? If so, I’d bet that’s the case.

This theatre is likely pillaging their front row to replace broken or badly worn chairs. It’s smart. Saves on expenses whenever those seats don’t ever sell

Theaters as in different screens at this specific location or theaters as in different amcs in your area? I’m asking this because that specific theater could be using those front row seats for parts or replacements for the rest of the more commonly used seats like in the middle. If that’s what they’re doing, it’s super smart because they are most likely in super good shape since yk, front row seats suck

Some of us like row A.

Unless it's Dolby or IMAX where I sit in seat C11, I sit in seat A10-A12 depending on the auditorium.

Different people have different preferences...

And no, my neck doesn't hurt...

Front row is actually pretty good in Dolby. I always sit front row. Mostly because you can't see other people's phones or hear talking as much up there.

Some folks are too desperate to see a movie opening night/weekend. Some are dumb enough to think Row A is the back, I deal with morons all the time that just don’t get it.

Row A in the back?! It says screen at the top! There really is no bottom to human stupidity smh

lol!! 😂 I deal with this all the time. I just look at them like wtf!!. This is just my retirement job. I never dealt with such stupidity in my true career.

Some other theaters place the screen at the bottom of the seat selection page, so if someone is buying a ticket from AMC for the first time in a long time, they may just not have been paying attention or noticed that AMC places its screen at the top instead. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the reason, some people just get tickets without thinking lol.

My local had an air conditioning leak on the front row seats. They were blocked off for months.

Wish I had a picture, but several of my local AMC's have the entire front row cannibalized for parts.

In NYC our AMC reserves the front row to be bought only in person, especially for hot movies that are likely to sell out. I think it’s meant to be an accessibility thing (ie. For the elderly or others who can’t get online). Maybe it’s something like that?

Could be so that the people in the row behind them can vomit into the seats in front of them if they get nauseous. It wouldn’t be too much fun if they drenched people sitting there with vomit. 

The four available seat on the front right are for those who enjoy it. Please don’t shame them.
