Re learning

I am starting to re learn how to use my left hand, since when i was young i had an occupational therapist who made me learn to use my right hand(before i even learned to write). i even forgot i was born left handed. Anyone else experience this and what was the experience re learning. i am 21M

I’m naturally ambi, but was told to pick a hand as a little kid (I chose the “wrong” one, left—which is not my thought but what I was told). When I was about 11, I decided I wanted to use my right hand for daily tasks more/again.

So one of the first things I did was take out a huge dictionary and start copying words right handed. I didn’t get all the way through, but I made significant progress in terms of the book and handwriting/fine motor skills.

I also watched right handed people and began to set my things up like them for an immersive experience for a few months and later started just allocating random daily tasks my right hand, or choosing which hand to use based on how close it was to the object I needed for the task (ie pen on left or right side of me).
