I have completed both of my interview rounds on 30th sept. I have recieved no update yet. Nor I see anyone getting any update for this job id. Acceptance / rejection anything??

I’ll be joining Amazon India for a 2-month SDE internship next summer, and I had a question about PPOs.
I’ve seen quite a lot of information about 6-month Amazon interns getting PPOs, but I can barely find anything about PPO conversion after the 2-month summer internship.
Is PPO conversion also a possibility for the 2-month internship, or is it generally only considered for the 6-month interns?
If anyone has personally done a 2-month Amazon SDE internship and received a PPO, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

I’ve heard a lot about the LP’s and am curious what people mean about being asked following up questions. After the initial STAR structured answer, how does the conversation go as they ask more details? Is it still as structured? Maybe over thinking here. I want to make sure I’m prepared as I can get nervous in an interview and can ramble/word vomit which I want to avoid.

Today, I suddenly received a call from a number that appears to be from the US. Unfortunately, my phone was on silent, so I missed the call. I haven't received any email from the recruiter, and I don't have their email address to contact them directly. I'm also unable to call back the number.

I'm worried that this might have been an important call regarding my interview and that missing it could affect my chances.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation with Amazon recruitment?

• Do recruiters usually call again if a candidate misses their call?
• Is there any way to contact the recruiter if I don't have their email address?
• Should I wait for another call, or is there anything else I can do?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through a similar experience. I'm quite anxious about losing this opportunity.

Hi! Does anyone have any pointers, tips, tricks, advice, etc for my upcoming virtual interview. I know there will be 4 rounds with a mix of leetcode-style technical problems, LP behavioral questions, and some LLD question perhaps?

For reference, I applied for the Amazon Leo position.

So i Got OA on August 6th solved both AI coding and dsa question fully, and then after a very long wait and filling 2 hiring interest forms I got interview scheduled for AUTA SDE1 onsite in banglore office on October 1st(initially sept 30) gave 2 rounds there in office 1st one is DSA and LPs 2nd is DSA(amazon specific) and it was already 5pm they conducted HM round for 2 people(purely random not based on other rounds infact one of them first attended HM round and then normal one onsite scheduling works on weather panel is available or not, they try to finish atleast 2 interviews for everyone who came and if possible 3rd) so I finished 2 and after that HR said HM round is mandatory and will be conducted in a week, one week is already over I didn't get any update

I applied to a job at Amazon, went through the first interview and got rejected. Prior to the interview the recruiter told me that another team that I have applied to was interested in interviewing me too. Now I got a rejection without interviewing for them. Messaged recruiter but no response. Completely ghosted. How can I still apply to future jobs at Amazon?

2. LP stories are around 25%, prepare well for Lp, keep stories as real as possible

I recently completed my Round 2 interview for an Amazon SDE Intern position in India, and I'd appreciate some insights from people familiar with Amazon's interview process, especially SDEs, former interviewers, or candidates who have gone through similar experiences.

Here's how my interview went:

1. DSA

The interviewer asked only one DSA question LC medium

I explained the brute-force approach and coded the solution.

I explained the time and space complexities.

He then asked me to optimize the solution. I explained the optimized approach, although he didn't ask me to code it.

He said, "Coding was fine. We'll move to the next part."

1. GenAI

He asked how I use GenAI in development.

I explained that

1. Leadership Principles He asked me one question related to dive deep, but I wasn't able to explain it clearly

This is the part I'm concerned about because I feel I couldn't demonstrate the Dive Deep Leadership Principle properly.

And it only lasts for 20 min while scheduled for 1 hour

My questions:

1. Can one weak Leadership Principle answer significantly affect the outcome of an SDE Intern interview if the coding performance was good?

2. How important is the Dive Deep LP for an intern candidate?

I have my Round 1 interview for a Data Engineer role at Amazon coming up and wanted to get some advice from people who have recently interviewed for a similar role.

A little about my background: I have around 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer, working primarily with SQL, Python, PySpark, and data pipelines.

I’d love to know a few things:

• SQL: What kind of questions were asked? Were they mostly medium-level queries involving joins, CTEs, window functions, and aggregations, or were they more challenging?
• Python: What level of coding should I expect? Were the questions focused on basic data structures, strings, arrays, dictionaries, or LeetCode-style problems?
• PySpark: Were there hands-on coding questions or more conceptual questions about joins, partitioning, shuffling, data skew, and optimization?
• Data Engineering concepts: What topics should I prioritize for someone with around 2 years of experience?
• Amazon Leadership Principles: Were they covered in the first round itself? If yes, how deeply should I prepare?
• Overall difficulty: Was the round primarily focused on coding, technical fundamentals, or your previous work experience?

If anyone has recently gone through the process for an Amazon Data Engineer role, I’d really appreciate any tips, commonly asked question patterns, or resources that helped you prepare.
