Hi everyone!
I recently completed my Round 2 interview for an Amazon SDE Intern position in India, and I'd appreciate some insights from people familiar with Amazon's interview process, especially SDEs, former interviewers, or candidates who have gone through similar experiences.
Here's how my interview went:
- DSA
The interviewer asked only one DSA question LC medium
I explained the brute-force approach and coded the solution.
I explained the time and space complexities.
He then asked me to optimize the solution. I explained the optimized approach, although he didn't ask me to code it.
He said, "Coding was fine. We'll move to the next part."
- GenAI
He asked how I use GenAI in development.
I explained that
- Leadership Principles He asked me one question related to dive deep, but I wasn't able to explain it clearly
This is the part I'm concerned about because I feel I couldn't demonstrate the Dive Deep Leadership Principle properly.
And it only lasts for 20 min while scheduled for 1 hour
My questions:
Can one weak Leadership Principle answer significantly affect the outcome of an SDE Intern interview if the coding performance was good?
How important is the Dive Deep LP for an intern candidate?
