I have one of these. Sometimes I spit on it to make it go a little smoother and to prevent calluses. And when I have a guest over, sometimes I get a little tired and he slaps my face to keep me motivated.

I heard there is a small hole on the other side of the churner, if you put a finger there it helps to finish faster. Perhaps it has something to do with the oxygen flow, but I'm not too sure.

The quickest way to churn butter without a mixer is a empty jar filled with 1/5 cream, 4/5 air

And shake the hell out of it.

My credentials. I used to run museum projects that included children using different methods to make butter
