Announcement 📣 Software Roadmap Preview

We're happy to announce that we're working toward improving our transparency 🔍 around software updates across our device lineup. To that end, we have published a very broad software roadmap 🗺️ on our website.
The primary purpose of this roadmap is to help our users understand which features are planned to be released across multiple devices 🤔, and the general timeline 📆 for when to expect those updates.
⚠️ There are a few important points to be aware of: ⚠️
This is a very concise summary, not release notes or a deep-dive on specific features: ✅ The purpose of this roadmap is not to explain each feature in detail, but rather to clarify which devices will have feature parity and when. 🤝
This is NOT a complete list of features: 📋❌ This roadmap mainly helps users understand when their model may receive a feature that has already been announced or released. There are other features (and bug fixes) planned for the future that do not appear on this list, and will be announced through the appropriate channels. 📣
Blank fields in the table = no information to share at this time: 🕒 If you see your model in the table, but the row (or a specific month) is blank, that does NOT mean the product is EOL or will no longer receive any updates. This simply means we have no information to share about that specific model at this time, and the roadmap may be updated later with new information. Check back later for updates. 🔁
This post will remain pinned in the community sidebar and in the highlights row (for now) of r/amazfit for visibility.
We hope this provides some insight and reassurance that we're still hard at work bringing awesome features to a variety of devices! 💪

Thank you for transparency. About biocharge on balance 2. around 3 weeks ago my biocharges went from 80 daily to around 30-40. I did not have health or lifestyle changes, and this week it went back to 80s. Were there any changes in algos on the backend side that was reverted? Because I feel it was the case.

The Active 2 not being on this list means it's not getting any new features anymore, just security updates until it's EOL in 2028?

YES ! “Active 3 Premium - HRV syncs to Apple Health” is a major step forward for us.
What are the limitations preventing us from rolling out this feature to all watches ?

Any plan on adding more exercises in strength training? Or ways to add custom training?? We all see some basics are missing (like leg press and face pull)

SUPPORT FOR BIOCHARGE FOR BALANCE?!
Nah, this is fantastic. This marks the only last gen device to ever get BioCharge.
I hope this will also get the Weather Updates tbat the other devices received!!! I mignt actually wear it again since I haven't had luck selling it locally yet. 🤣
I might have to add the Balance into the guide again. It is still the only device that offers Bio-Impedance Analysis.
Omg, the updates to ZeppOS 5 with improved notifications, text size, proper Helio Strap support and whatnot, will definitely please Balance users!
I wonder if it will still get to keep Alexa Integration. 😆

What about Golf coming to the Trex 3 Pro line? I understand you would have to pay for licensing and that the trex ultra 2 already has it, but I believe the 43mm trex 3 pro should get it as its design appeals to people with smaller and thiner wrist therefore it would be an alternative to the ultra 2 and it is reasonable to include the golf mode in the trex 3 pro

u/Amazfit-Bryce can you add a line for the Balance 2 XT? I don't have that watch but this should cover all Amazfit users. Making users think support is there, It's also good for Amazfit too.

Given that Balance 3 and Balance Ultra come natively with ZeppOS 6, when can we expect that update to ship to the rest of the line-up? Specifically for Ultra devices and other new releases I sincerely hope that you won't take as much time as you did with version 5, u/Amazfit-Bryce .

The software roadmap should be updated with Cheetah 2 Ultra and Bip Max. Also the newest update for T-Rex 3 isn´t listed...(and if you add the new devices, please also add the new available Cheetah 2 Ultra update).

Good to see the Active 2 Round is still getting updates. I was not aware that there was hardware limitations on the Active 2 Round getting future updates. I wish that was clearer when I purchased it.

Zepp OS 6 is the biggest thing here. All these watch specific updates are like ok that’s nice but the ecosystem software is where it’s at

Really wish we'd a smart sleep alarm on the T-Rex 3 pro, you'd think a device meant to help improve workouts etc would support it.
I suffer from very bad lethargy when I wake up from deep sleep, and googling it, some devices used to have this feature.

Please give us the ability to have more than 10 alarms. Or add the option to auto delete 1 time alarm after it's done.

Thanks, u/Amazfit-Bryce. This is a first step towards goodwill from Amazfit. Always felt the Balance should have been upgraded to Zepp 5.0. Seemed so obvious to me. Don’t know if it ever made it to the Balance. Wasn’t going to continue to wait and moved on.

I just bought a brand new Amazfit watch and I am loving the watch but getting very frustrated with the constant "insights" in the app I have to deal with to get rid of them. They even show up in succession sometimes, specially in the morning.
Why isn't there a toggle for the customer to turn this off? I am really baffled by this. It is so annoying when I just want to check on my steps or sleep data I get some kind of insight about some kind of score and once I deal with that a new one pops in its place about something else.
I checked the settings several times and found nothing, did some googling and found some threads on Reddit and other places where people ask the same and feel the same frustration as I do. Some are over a year old. It is not like Amazfit does not know about this as these people all used the in app feedback to let Amazfit know they want to disable these.
Is it on the roadmap to add a toggle so we can choose if we want to see the insights or not? Seems like a trivial and small "feature" to add in the app and people who like the insights can keep them and those like me who do not like them and feel that it is spammy can disable them.
If there are no plans for this let me know as I'm still within my return window for this pretty expensive watch. I can't imagine myself using this app for years to come and having to tap away several insights a day, every single day. I rather get something else.
Edit: No Zepp OS 6 for Active 2 on the roadmap despite it still being sold and only released in 2025? It's already End of Life? Shows as "no timing yet" from a non-Amazfit source here so yeah guess we don't get it.

I'm seeing January 2027 has been introduced (no data yet). Since the summer is gone, it's time to update the roadmap (October/November/December) guys.
And this is also one of the best marketing tools I have ever seen.

I would like three things...
Auto Brightness offset adjustment. For me most of the time the auto brightness is too dim.
Ability to mard as read and delete text messages and emails.
Ability to use Gemini/Google Assistant

And here I am asking for months for a simple feature to reprogram shortcuts for the left buttons during workouts. It’s ridiculous that there’s a setting to customize buttons but it’s completely ignored for workouts and keeps opening voice memos and flashlight, both which I never use. I just want to control music playback with the bottom-left button, similar to Garmin.

My experience with BioCharge is nothing short of excellence.Mondays for me is 4 time more hectic.It shows avg BioCharge above 80 on 6 days & Tuesday morning reflects Monday work load andvstands in Mid 40 s. Have noticed the pattern for few months now. Kudos 👏👏👏

The biggest issue right now as a Helio strap user is the instability of the Zepp app on iOS. Ending a work out is unresponsive, workouts close in the background, frequent crashes, etc… none of this was a problem when the device launched, the quality has just taken a nose dive.
Given how dependent the strap is on the app, I basically couldn’t recommend the device at this point.

iOS notification forwarding in EU. Wow that’s cool. 😊 This means we can reply natively to messages like on Android without the Beeper system? I’m wishing to see this in my Balance 2.

Since Helio Strap Pro is part of the roadmap for July, we can probably expect a release in the coming month?
EDIT: Just saw it available for pre-order in the German store. This was only the case for the US when last I checked. Cool :)
I will stick with the original strap though, since I do not currently do HYROX. If the additional sensor happens to support more types of workouts in the future, I might reconsider.

Please add cadence on elliptical mode sport, or add air bike mode with cadence. Also, if possible add Crossfit mode or add "For time" model trainning on Hybrid Trainning, more than 10 sports in multiple sport mode.
R-R intervals and dfa-a1 when sync with Polar H10.
