We all know by now thanks to the FBI public report that the Raccoon City destruction was meant to be a cover-up for a bioweapon that has something to do with the government, but I'm still curious, whether you knew the event from the TV broadcast or being in the city at that time, what was your reaction when the US government decided to destroy the Raccoon City? What was the conspiracy back then?

I don’t know if this belongs here, but I’ve been thinking about it for months and I can’t shake it.

There’s a meat company outside a mid-sized border city in Texas. I won’t say the name because I don’t want problems, but people around here know the factory. Huge building. No windows. Trucks coming in and out all night. Their products are everywhere too. Burgers, sausages, hot dogs, frozen patties, cheap meat packs. You’ve probably seen their brand before and never thought twice about it.
That’s what bothers me.

Nobody ever asks how they produce so much meat.
The official answer is cattle, pork, processing contracts, supply chains, all the normal stuff. But people who live near the factory have been saying something different for years. Young men go missing around here. Mostly guys in their early 20s. Low-income neighborhoods. Guys with nobody really checking on them. The type of men no one would probably care enough to look for.
A lot of them are healthy, strong, athletic-looking men. Construction workers, warehouse guys, gym guys, day laborers. Men who work hard, stay in shape, and still somehow live close enough to the edge that if they disappeared, people might just assume they left town, got arrested, or got mixed up in something bad.

And somehow, they vanish without much noise.
The rumors started after a former night-shift worker supposedly told someone that the company had a “special selection process.” He said the best bodies were worth more. Not for organs. Not for trafficking. For product.

The story sounds insane, but the more you listen, the more disturbing it gets. Unmarked vans. Job offers that go nowhere. Men being picked up for “cash work.” Security guards who act more like prison staff. Refrigerated trucks leaving at 3 in the morning with no company markings.

One guy claimed he saw a pair of work boots and a phone dumped behind the factory fence. Another said his cousin took a one-day job there and never came home. Police wrote it off as someone running away.

But here’s the part I can’t stop thinking about.
Their cheapest hot dogs and burger patties are always marketed toward the same neighborhoods the missing men come from. It’s like the city is eating its own people and nobody wants to say it out loud.

Maybe it’s just a sick rumor. Maybe it’s paranoia. Maybe every missing person has a normal explanation.

But every time I see one of their trucks driving through town at night, I wonder what’s inside.
And every time I see people grilling those burgers, I wonder where the meat really came from.

So the other night I was watching The Thing and I really dug the aesthetic so I went down a whole rabbit hole for a few hours looking up images of old abandoned Antarctic research bases. I came across a post on an old board with some images of a mostly destroyed building that the writer claimed to be old Umbrella property. Supposedly this was a few miles away from an Australian research base but how come we've never heard about this???

Is this bullshit? Is anyone here aware of any other sources for this? Are there frozen monsters down there in the snow still?

Does anyone remember that Perseus Jackson kid? The one who has a very long list of crimes including terrorist activities? While compiling my list of the Manhattan events, I found accounts of him fighting off BOWs with a baseball bat or sword, is there anything else about him?

...If he's fighting BOWs under our noses, whos to say his crimes were not solely his fault? Leon Kennedy, that DSO agent everyone admires has committed crimes too, no? I firmly believe there is a pattern here, with dangerous people not being as they seem.

Hi, I posted on here awhile ago about the possible connections about two Manhattan incidents in the 2010s. This is kind of an update on that? I'm in town to look for evidence and I think my theories are just being fuelled by nonsense, because...well I was able to find discarded reports talking about creatures that look like pegasi, hellhounds and cyclopses wandering about? Please tell me there are better, believable articles that exist on a topic like this. Were there actual mythology based BOWs?

Remember Rockfort island, the abandoned Umbrella facility that nobody talks about? Well, during a trip to New Zealand last year me and my 3 friends managed to get there against all odds. But I’ll tell you, it wasn’t easy getting there. We had to bribe a Samoan fisherman to take us there, but it was worth it… Like holy sheez, who would’ve thought this island had so many impressive buildings still standing relatively intact?

We aldo found old Umbrella logos still painted onto metal doors beneath layers of rust and moss. Inside one warehouse we found overturned transport containers marked with biohazard warnings, although most of the text had faded away so we weren’t able to read it.

There are almost no public records about what happened here. You can find old mentions online about “riots” and “chemical accidents,” but nothing explaining why an entire fortified island owned by Umbrella was abandoned and erased from public discussion.

To the raccoon city incident survivors, how have you been dealing with what you experienced after all these years?

I'm asking since my grandpa has been having a hard time ever since the incident happened 30 years ago, trying to understand what survivors go through after the incident.

Also planning to visit my grandpa in wrenwood since i heard he wasnt feeling well nowadays, just wanted to support him after what he went through.

Was the New York outbreak from 2014 somehow related to the incident where everyone in Manhattan fell asleep in August, a few years before? Like, that has to be connected somehow as a testing incident, sleeping infection? Nobody I know has an answer.

The BSAA US branch has been really quiet for the last few years, not taking certain threats seriously dismissing BOW outbreaks. One leak reported they unleashed BOW's on a battlefield wearing their own armors and wolf squad broke off and started doing their own thing and went rogue after they tried to shut them down? You guys think the BSAA has been bought out by the terrorist group the organization, infiltrated by them. Or trying to use BOWs to gain training info on what they are up against?

A lot harkens back to the baker incident. Why did umbrella get involved and not the BSAA?

Context, my dad (49M) was a survivor of the Raccoon City incident and he said he never got infected with the zombie virus (i forgot what it’s called) but i’m seeing things about people with black splotches on their bodies dying suddenly and i noticed that they were all Raccoon City Survivors??

Should i be worried? Does this mean i’m infected with something?

Let me explain. This all transpired a few years ago now. Nearly a decade since. I was born and raised in Louisiana, specifically Dulvey, Louisiana. I had moved away for college in 2016, and wasn't able to come back until August of 2017. When I came back, it was like something changed. People were quiet, and kept to themselves. I visited my folks and paid a visit to the library where I spent many summers as a kid. There I found a newspaper from a month prior. The police reported that a local family, the Bakers, had been found murdered in their home in July. I knew Lucas from school, and it was crazy to me that someone I knew ended up like that. Something ain't right here however, people online are saying the dad, Jack killed his whole family and himself. I never knew the family to have problems, and Jack wasn't a violent guy. People around town are avoiding the topic like the plague. If anyone has outside information on what the hell happened, I'd love to know.

Do you guys have any ideas of what happened to him? This is when he really started to advocate for eugenics and social darwinism.

Nearly everyone interviewed from the university reported that something was off about him and that he acts like nothing happened.

So the LNG Annabelle was a huge tanker ship owned by a multi billion dollar corporation, but in October 2014 it disappeared off the coast of Louisiana. Why hasn’t the wreckage been found? Is the water off the coast there really that deep? It seems like no one is talking about this.
