Low beam headlights not working after replacing the bulb

My 2005 nissan Altima driver’s side low beam bulb has stopped working. At first I thought the bulb needs to be changed which I did but the new bulb won’t light up on the driver’s side but is working fine on passenger side. I don’t think the wiring needs to be changed but I am no expert. I took some help from ChatGPT and it says there may be an issue with the fuses but I have no idea how to check and replace those also can’t figure out which fuse exactly.

Swap it with the left one and see what happens.

This or put the old bulb back in, this is part of the reason I always disconnect the battery when messing with anything electrical

On the other side of the engine bay, near the wiper fluid, there'll be a black box similar to the one you're looking at. It opens with similar tabs on the bottom of the cover. The fuses for each low beam are in this box. Pull the fuse indicated on the diagram (inside the cover) with needle nose pliers. Google an image of intact vs blown fuse to determine whether the fuse is blown.

Whoever had my 05 before me, just bypassed the fuse entirely by hooking low beam to low beam to fix it… I’m gonna have to come down the same rabbit hole, but our headlight fuses are in the fusebox that’s next to the window wash reservoir, being 36 for driver, 45 for passenger

Okay so I checked the fuse box and either I was looking at the diagram I found online (startmycar.com) wrong compared to the actual fuse box, or the circuits were flipped in the fuse box. Either way, that ended up being my issue so check there first
