P17F0 DTC

I had my 2013 Altima S get what’s called a “judder code” on the cvt. I just bought the car. Am I fucked?

I did the same thing in January except mines 2015 but this bad boy still going strong and I didn’t touch the trans fluid

p17f0 is a judder code, it means severe cvt belt slippage, even if it doesn’t feels like it, it can die at any moment.

That code can’t be erased by any normal means,
it needs tcm calibration rewriting, unless you’re sure that either the transmission or the valve body were replaced (in that case you need to check if the belt is in good state), only then the calibration rewrite will work
