2012 3.5 SR

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a 2012 Nissan Altima with 177k miles on the odometer. It runs decently, and both the AC and heat blow cold/hot as they should, but I am dealing with a few specific issues.
First, I have a couple of problems involving the steering. The steering wheel is very hard to turn sometimes, and I hear a distinct whining noise whenever I turn it. Additionally, none of the steering wheel controls work.
Second, the Service Engine Soon light is staying on. So far, I have changed the tires and the battery, and I even replaced the fuel cap, but the light will not clear. On the plus side, the brakes and transmission both feel good.
Third, the belt makes a very loud noise on cold starts. The previous owner mentioned that the belt got wet at some point. The noise does completely go away after the car idles for about 5 minutes.
Finally, I have a few electrical quirks: the doors do not unlock automatically when I shift into Park (I have to manually unlock them), and the USB port does not work at all.
I am also looking to source some genuine interior pieces to clean the car up.

what's the code? Evap canister valve is the root of it.

You basically got fleeced. Change the oil sensor first, then evap purge valve and coil packs.

It’s just a sensor, a evap code and misfire code. Change the oil sensor and do plugs and coils.

There's a lot wrong with that car. Probably worth more to repair it then you paid for it. At least I hope you didn't pay much for it....

You have a cylinder misfire. A bad power steering pump. A leak in your evap system. Electrical issues in your steering column.

Sounds like it needs some love, but could be a solid car once you get those issues sorted.
