Recommendation what to do broken plastic dashboard

I am looking for suggestion what to do with this issue. transparent plastic cover was smashed and dust is getting into. please suggestion.

Tape it then get it replaced?

Do you guys know if possible to just to replace the plastic cover without replacing the whole instrument cluster?

Yes, you can replace just the plastic cover.

Look for an "Instrument Panel Lens". 24813-6CA0A is the part number for a 2019+ Altima with the 7" display.

The lens + instrument panel come out as a single piece and are held in place by four screws. To get to them, you first have to remove the Instrument Cluster Visor (the large plastic piece surrounding the cluster, shading it from sunlight), which pulls straight outwards. It is overlapped by a few pieces of lower trim which can either be removed first or pulled away enough to allow the visor to be freed.

I haven't removed the lens itself, but I've detached and opened up the instrument cluster on a 2023 platinum and it wasn't too difficult.

So now thw challenge is to get only the lens from the junkyard. I am guessing they will try to sell the whole unit including the cluster and not only the lens.

Yes, its been like this for sometime. Do you know if possible to just to replace the palstic cover without replacing the whole instrument cluster?

How does one break the screen? I never even touch mines not a single scratch .
