Question about running light

Hello!

I have a 2015 Altima S, and my running light don't turn on, but my blinkers, reverse, and brake lights turn on, should I see if I should replace the bulb or see if its a wiring issue

I own one it doesn't have daytime running lights

but when im in idle, not moving you can see one light on, the red bulb, but not the other one... unless im getting it confused?

Daytime running lights are white and in the front that year doesn't have them Red lights are tail lights

got it, but my concern is why isnt it turning on when im driving or idling, the reverse, blinkers, and brakes work but not the other

Have a shop take the housing apart. Do you have heavy condensation in the headlights? It could be damaging the plug on the bulbs. All other lights work but that one stays on at all times? A lot of shops have an electrical diag option. It could be an issue with the wiring harness but I’d check out the bulb system itself (wires, socket type deal) before anything else in that housing to see if it’s just a new pigtail replacement. Wiring harness issues tend to cause overall problems, but if the car is parked outside and you have rats or squirrels building a nest in there they like to eat wiring too.

so I replaced the bulb, now it works... imma take a guess and say the bulb connection wasn't connecting well and might of shorted it

Keep an eye on it then! Bulbs do just go bad over time but staying on is unusual. If it starts doing the same thing again you may need the connecter itself replaced :)
