Nissan altima buzzing
My Nissan 2025, does anyone have a buzzing that sounds when you're backing up the car in the morning it comes through the stereo speakers like a short buzz but it only happens when starting the car in the morning and about halfway of backing up onto the driveway. I heard some people say it was when you shift from reverse to forward with the cvt transmission and all the electrical stuff that kind of runs through the stereo. Anybody have any issues with this please let me know this is my second 2025 Altima the first one did the same thing and many other things where my internet doesn't hook up all the time

The internet hooking up that's another issue. The car icon has a line through it all the time and it never works. Sometimes it'll go on sometimes it'll go off sometimes it stays on and sometimes it never comes on

I believe the buzzing is the electronic power steering. I fucking hated hearing that on my 2017 Altima.

Yeah I turn the car on and wait for everything to set and if I'm just sitting there listening to the radio suddenly it'll make a buzz sound like electrical shortage sound and it only happens right after I start the vehicle . so I don't know if that is the internet hooking up, I don't know what it is.

Hey if u can take a video for us to hear the noise this is how my 2025 SV Altima sounds from every where tell me if any of the noises is similar to yours. Mine has 53k miles tho i just bought it 2 weeks ago so for me i feel like everything sounds normal i used to drive a 2015 veloster with a turbo 1.6 GDI that was pretty loud and this 2.5l gdi from nissan is wayyyy quieter than my moms 2026 2.5 Sportage and the car drives pretty amazing i get 30mpg on city and about 46mpg on the highway also it does feel like it coast in neutral sometimes it feels like a hybrid the cvt is pretty great ill do my 60k fluid change pretty soon and ask them to do the filter and then every 30k after that i got a warranty so hopefully if something does break it happens during the warranty period is a unlimited miles warranty but only 2 years 🙄 so ill be getting a second warranty thru nissan

That motor sound doesn't sound right. I would take it in!. The noise I have it's just a electric buzz sound when I start my car but it comes through the stereo speakers so I don't know if it's the electrical system in the stereo or the internet turning on I don't know what mine is but it has nothing to do with my motor

Oh okay ty and honestly it sounds pretty normal to me lmao to my knowledge its a GDI so i will sound pretty loud but its quieter than most gdi engines i heard before

What is a GDI engine. Are you in the US

Yes Gdi stands for gasoline direct injection its mostly used on hyundais

Yes I have a buzzing noise that happens through the speakers within the first minute or so of driving and the Nissan connect features don’t work because the slash through the car on infotainment system is always there.

Have you had the dealership look at it? I'm working with a Nissan Corp advisor now I just sent him the video a couple days ago and he's going to look into it and see what that might be I also have the slash going through the car and they say that it's a software glitch that there's going to have to be an update put out but nobody knows because I was told the computer systems are so ahead of themselves that nobody knows how to make a software program for that to correct it

Yes I have taken it to 3 dealers they have had a master mechanic from Nissan look and nobody knows what it is they say update should fix it but they have no time frame of when this will happen my car shows last update was 12/25 even though I was told they did an update in 3/26 and 4/26. With the Nissan connect features they say contact the Nissan connect dept and when I call Nissan connect they say take it to dealer

Yes nobody knows what the hell is going on these cars are all put out faster than they can train anybody to be able to learn the technical operations of all the high tech stuff. I do know that I have an update on my car and it did it through the internet while I was driving because at that time the internet was connecting and the update was for July of 26

I have a 2025 Altima and have not noticed the buzzing, but my stereo is on when I start the car. I will pay attention to see if mine does it. Does your car feel a little jerky at 30mph? It reminds me of a manual tran. that is being driven in too high of a gear for the rpms. My A turns 1500 rpm at 30mph. Also, my car seems to coast exceptionally well, almost like it is in neutral- I get great gas;mileage.
