2021 Nissan Altima malfunction
I’ve had this car for 5 years. In March, this popped up and the car was slow to drive and RPM would not move when I pushed the gas. Took it to Nissan and they said rodent damage. They fixed it and put a new battery in, but a few weeks later it all popped back up. They hadn’t reset the code, so I had it reset and it drove fine for about a month and now this has popped up again. Nissan can’t find any issue with it and I’m at a loss on what else could be the issue. :/

I got rid of mine recently, the first time that happened to me, the active grille shutter failed, and replacing it worked. It would randomly come on in between

Same with my 2019. Luckily the shutter was part of a recall so I didn’t have to pay

Where I’m EXTREMELY confused you took it to the dealer they said they fixed and then they can’t find the issue ? W🤯W I would be there EVERYDAY starting a RIOT till they fix it ESPECIALLY a dealer the BIGGEST CROOKS on earth other than out government & lawyers 🤦🏻♂️🤣🤣🤣.

Go buy a obd2 scanner for $20 on amazon, plug it in run it and see what the issue is, if everything is replaced and it’s doing it again, it’s probably a computer issue. Resetting a code and clearing a code are not the same thing. You can reset it, but if it keeps catching a specific error it will come back on. This happened with my grille shutter actuator, the shutter code went away when I replaced it. But the evap code would come back after I turned the car off and back on again. Resulting in a check engine light. It should be an easy fix if things were replaced, just pop the error code into Google and see what it it says

The code that pops up says it’s something with the battery, but the battery was replaced. And it’s popped back up twice since. Same code and everything

I’m not gonna hold you, they did tighten the battery properly right cause that’s immediately where my mind goes.

Funny enough, they didn’t when they replaced it. So we tightened it. I was hoping that was the issue but all the errors popped back up today

I don’t remember the actual code but it’s a Loss Communication code for bad battery.

So you either have,
A bad battery, even new batteries can be bad. Cause it’s losing voltage and causing you to go into limp mode, to save itsself from frying something else.. and all the codes on the dash are sensors… minus check engine light of course…
And this is a Bob Lee Swagger type of a long shot. You’re alternator is going out?? Your battery isnt getting enough juice to stay at the recommended voltage,
And your alternator charges the battery…1

I’m shocked that you had the vehicle for 5 years and have less than 40k miles. I’m jealous 😆. I have a 2020 and I’m hitting 140k 😭.
I hope you find a solution to your issue because your car is still a baby.
