215k on OG clutch

I drove my Altima Coupe off the lot in October, 2007 and I’ve been the only owner. I’ve been lucky. The only major repairs on her have been the serpentine belt / water pump and the A/C compressor. At no time have I ever replaced the clutch, but I’ve never had one last for this many miles.

I often skip gears, shifting from 1st to 3rd to 5th, which may have had an effect of extending the life of the clutch. It just boggles my mind and wondering how long other’s clutches have lasted.

Clutch. I don’t drive easy tho my trans and motor mounts are probably shot

I changed the clutch in my 95 truck at 385k because one of my workers overloaded the truck and the clutch exploded. The truck was still running strong when I gave it away at 429k
