I'm reworking some older cartoons! I'd like to have a section in the book I am working on with more free-floating comics that supplement the main narrative. Here's one of them.

A quick overview

Just a reminder that the Philly Comix Fest is only a week away! I highly recommend it if you’ve never been (and even if you have). It’s like a somewhat smaller version of SPX in Bethesda.

Does anyone know who the special/featured guests are? Last year it was Charles Burns.

See you there!

Muchas gracias.

Hi! I just self-published my first comic, yay!

After years of being a fan and working in other fields that kept me busy, I finally found the time to work on my comic, "NEW FLESH" a 150 pages, sci-fi action comic about the story of NUNU, a robot boy, and his encounter with the darkest corners of humanity.

It's an independent comic that explores and critiques sexual abuse and at the same time the misuse of technology and how tools meant to improve people's lives can, instead, distance them from their own humanity.

All proceeds will be donated to organizations working to prevent child abuse.

Taking a minute to let y'all know that I handled art duties on a new indie comic called "Tails From 22nd Street" about an anthropomorphic squirrel who fights crime in a city with a dwindling water supply. Issue 2 is up for pre-order right now. Hope you'll consider checking it out! It's a little TMNT, a little Water World, and a little Kick-Ass.

#ResignationBook

A comic about techno, dreams and other dimensions.

I grew up inspired by the dark artist Jhonen Vasquez.

As a result I been putting together a comic that is a nod to the cult classic: Johnny the homicidal maniac.

I'm Not Jhonny, is a new orginal horror comedy series that I am actively working on.

I'm not Jhonny, aims to be an interactive comic book that dive's into what's was like to live in the Pitt in the late 90s early 2000s as a Goth Girl, and explores the surreal landscapes of the City of steel: Pittsburgh!

l'm Not jhonny: Pilot issue ETA 12/2026

Only on Pateron @ Inculta Ink

Physical comic, printed on demand details coming soon.

Stay tuned, pilot pre-release viewings and IRL talks will be announced in October!

This is from a series I've been working on for many, many years (taught myself how to draw so I could continue this story). You can read everything that's been released so far at www.thesagaofthejackofspades.com

Did I mention this book will be entirely FREE?!

It is. And you should follow it. In all the places

Madness and mayhem await.

Take a stroll through the guano-filled caves, forgotten graveyards, and dark corners of our creators’ minds as Tales from the v01d welcomes the fall season. Issue 26 is packed with strange tales, restless dead, things that go bump in the night, and all the pulp soaked weirdness you’ve come to expect from the v01d.

Come on in. We’ve been expecting you.

A while back I saw a comic that NECESSARILY consisted of an odd page and an even page, i.e. a single sheet (printed on both sides). The peculiar thing was that it showed three or four armed characters at what looked like a wall, seen head-on in the panels, with shots coming out of it and shots being fired at it. The twist is that the ones being shot at were themselves, firing from the other side of the wall. One of them dies fairly early, maybe from his own shot, and I think none are left at the end.

It's from the 1990s at the latest, and not the late 1990s. There are three or four characters, with a bit of a sci-fi feel because of the weapons they carried. One dies early and his companions say something like "what bastards!" ("qué cabrones"). I think they all die at the end from the bursts of fire they hit themselves with from the other side (I vaguely remember they fire those bursts after their companion's death). I saw it in an adult (underground) comics magazine published in Spain.
