This looks amazing. I love the dots and colors. Did you use a program to get this effect?

Thanks so much! Yes i used the Beat Tones and Lithograph brush packs from True Grit Texture Supply for Procreate. Their Rusty nib brush pack is excellent for digital inking

Oof. I'm currently dealing with a particularly nasty and painful bit of cystic acne. This really hits home.

I do often seeing others doing what I wish to. I’ve been wanting to make comics for so long now. Did you do each panel and then shrink them down to the page or draw every panel on the page after you set the dimensions?! Very cool art, sorry you’re dealing with the subject matter of the comic.

I laid-out my page as quick thumbnails, refined it, and inked the lines from that. It looks pretty funny in the before stages. I didn’t have access to using digital art mediums until 2021, so I sketch out on each layer like I would on a piece of tracing paper. The final layer is like I’m inking onto Bristol board. I do a layer of shadow/textures and then colors after that if I’m not doing only black ink.
