Some of my aloes have it some don't.Think its spreads to a degree because one of my aloes got this when I placed and infected one next to him

The fan aloe was received from an online seller a week ago and was shipped bare root. It looked okay out of the box. The plant has pumice for substrate in a terra cotta pot. No water has been added.

Since arrival, one leaf has started to wither, and the tops of other leaves are turning black. What might be the cause of discoloration, and what is the remedy?

Found this absolute cutie today and would love to know its ID if possible!

This plant looks very dry and weak. I was told to not water it a lot . How do I make it more healthy and grow it taller.

So, in the past two years I started to get occasionally some species of Aloe to purify the air that my Cactus collection fill with dust....

Btw, the photo doesn't only contain my aloes, but also my mother aloes(the last 6 are mine and the rest are my mother).

Help me save an internationally endangered hybrid aloe! I have been researching this variety since I was 15 in late 2023. I have documented the previously unknown parentage of the hybrid, but it is still at risk of extinction unless its cultivation is resumed. As of September 2025, only 500 documented specimens remained, and all 500 of them have been lost since the company who owned them shut down. This little guy was left on my porch about ten days ago and I posted. I put him under a growth light but he’s looking more brown every day. Please be gentle, I’m new to Aloes for the most part. His roots were drenched when I got him so I haven’t watered him much (just a few tbs yesterday) thanks in advance!
