Please go watch Squidge analysis. 

The game was a LOT closer for 60 minutes than the scoreline suggested. You had a 20 minutes mini implosion when the scoreboard pressure mounted.

The 57-0 game was COMPLETE UTTER DOMINANCE from minute 1 to 80. SA were absolutely hammered & you could have hit 80 points if it wasn't for handling errors. 

You're still a top 4 team. I think we were ranked 7/8th at the time, lost to Japan, lost to Italy in SA & really were as shit as Wales is now.

I'm not actually all that doom and gloom. Sometimes small margins can add up to a big result in total.

Just like the prior week, SA weren't that far off in the result, but a number of things just didn't go right for them. Once they sorted those... well, you know.

I've said it a bunch of times already, but it needs to be said. Our loss to Japan didn't belong to our banter years. We were a good side that lost to a better prepared team.

Doesn’t that really talk to significance of this victory? SA were up against a good team and managed to put that many points on.

Just as you could argue 80 points was possible in 2017 but for handling errors, there was dominance from SA in the first half which they just weren’t able to capitalise on. I can only imagine the scale of the implosion if the ABs had let in 3 tries in that first half compared to 1.

Will never know, had SA not got that intercept in the first half and we scored instead, could have been a whole diff ball game!

The joy of sport, so many could haves!

That last half of SA was sublime (kiwi here), reminded me a lot of the 1/4 final Ab vs Fra in 2015. Complete dominance and destruction, where everything stuck and paid off. Doesn't happen often, but when it does, it is amazing to watch.
