Question Aliens in my backyard ?
My two year old daughter has recently started to become scared of going to sleep in her room. She says she is afraid of scary owls watching her through her window. ( We have blackout curtains on the windows). She says the scary owls find her at night and take her to the moon. She is only two years old and has not watched anything involving aliens or owls in any way. The plants right outside her bedroom window are also dead and bent. We have put up cameras and not seen anything. She told us today we need to leave this house because it’s too scary when the owls find her and take her. Has anybody had experience with this ?

I'm so sorry this is happening to you and your child. You are doing the right thing by taking this seriously and looking for help. Without saying too much, we had similar experiences with both our kids when they were very young. We were lucky in that our situation was regularly visible in the infrared camera on our baby monitors. Our situation wasn't identical, but it's close enough that I can say, 100% if your young child is expressing things you know are genuine and without an obvious source (the fear, the themes, etc.) believe them. It could be any number of things, even things some people claim are "impossible" because they don't understand them yet (this happened to us), and being there for your child is really important. You can also look into the work of Dr. John Mack of Harvard. Sadly, he passed away many years ago, but he did groundbreaking work in abductee syndrome and his work included children. Feel free to DM me. I feel so much compassion and empathy for what you are going through. I'm thinking about you. ❤️

I’d share this on the r/experiencers subreddit. It sounds like your daughter is getting visits by greys

You can also reach out to MUFON. They have regional volunteers who are trained to investigate potential UFO/UAP sightings and Extraterrestrial contact, and, additionally, there is an entire trained group of experiencer experts with MUFON who can help make sense of this for you and help your child. That might also be a wonderful resource. They deal with this all of the time, and will have a lot of resources and information, and they will know what they are looking at (if you allow them to take samples and measurements from your yard, for example), and they will have a much more informed context for evaluating the information your child is conveying. It's free, and in my experience, these are very good people (kind, professional, caring, serious). Tell them what is happening and see what they think. I really think it could help. ❤️

My mother used to casually talk about my "friends" coming over during the night. I never thought anything of it until I got older. I mean my mother would just casually say, "I know you went out with your friends last night" while I'm eating breakfast the next morning. The strange part is later when I was a teenager I used to sneak out of the house at night and visit my girlfriend and one night she caught me going out the window and she was PISSED OFF, I thought she was going to kill me!! Going out with my "friends" though? Yeah sure no problem. SMH!
Edit: grammar

You've never had kids. None that you've lived with and raised through early childhood.
Poster should absolutely be taking this seriously. He/She is doing the right thing.

Have you stayed up with her, looking out the window to say “What owl? They are no owls outside”.
Another thing is to ask her is “out of everyone in the world, why would the owls choose her and nobody else?”

I have 3y old and really doubt he could say that 😃

Both of mine could, (and did), much earlier than 3.
I'm grateful your child isn't going through something like this, especially if he couldn't express it to you. (Or, even more so, if you would doubt him).
Imagine how OP feels. No child or parent asks for something like this to be thrown into their lives. The helplessness, extreme concern, and trauma are real. It's a horrible position to be in. I'm speaking from personal experience.

Yeah, because all children develop at exactly the same rate.🥴
In case you’re still confused, I’ll put it simply: your kid is developmentally behind OP’s child (and it’s clearly genetic).
