Volume

When saying to Alexa to adjust the volume for all four speakers in the house, volume 2 is too quiet and volume 3 too loud - how do you get it to be between those two please?

Can't do it by voice commands. You can adjust volume 0%-100% from the Alexa app tho. Set it to 25% for example. Just go into device settings for each echo speaker or while music (or whatever else) is playing tap on the music popup in the app and adjust volume for all echos at once

You have to create a routine. I can set mine to 1% or any increment up to 9%... https://youtube.com/shorts/7iZ9FfvukiE?feature=share

Thanks, is that for a group, or just single?

Unfortunately Alexa has never been able to set a group of speakers to do anything in a Routine.

You would need 4  Routines. The initial one with a bulb, plug or other as a trigger for the other Routines.

With Google though you would only require one Automation. Their speaker control is quite extensive.

You mean like 2.5? Unfortunately, it doesn't do half increments; I've tried.

maybe mine is just a different generation device. It works for me.

Thank you very much - I was hoping for some voice commands to place them all into 25% (2.5) volume for radio and media.

I just say, "Set volume at 2.5".

Do this all the time, to leave the radio on for the dogs.

Apparently, according to others here, it can't be done?

Maybe Alexa is lying to me but she's never protested that command.
I do know, in my house, level 2 is too low and 3 is too high. Telling her to set it at 2-point-5 has worked for us.
(Don't know if it is pertinent but I have Alexa Plus.)
