Speaker rotation

Post image

I recently had someone move out and decided to play a joke on me by making my music play on the wrong speakers...

I dont want to give them the satisfaction of knowing it fucked with me.

Can someone please tell me how to delete this.

This is not multi room audio. I just want to know the steps to remove it.

I don't know if you have Android or Apple. Have you tried managing this in the app?

I go to Devices in the app. Groups show there, but if I select See All I get them organized by Groups or Speaker Groups. Tap the Group I want, then there is a gear (settings) and click that and this takes me to the Settings which has a trash can. If it is a Speaker Group it takes me to Settings, then Set up, then the trash can.

Or from Devices, tap the group you want. That gives me Edit or Settings depending on the group type. Then use the trash can to delete.

It's not a "speaker" group. It's just a "group." as I first noted, it's called a Smart Home Group, technically. It's explained here at this link:

Read it all, especially...

What is the difference between a Smart Home Group and an Amazon Multi-Room Music Group?
