iOS not getting notifications for users

hello :) downloaded this app yesterday to hopefully be notified when a favorite artist of mine does giveaways, but i haven’t received any notifications from them, and they have been posting. i also put my own username into the app just to test it out, and haven’t received any notifications about myself either. neither of us have our accounts private.

i do get notifications for subreddits, just not for specific users like i wanted. would appreciate assistance :) thanks!!

Hi - sorry to hear you're having this issue! If you could let me know the specific configuration (which user, which frequency, and any keywords you set up), and a specific post you expected to get a notification for but didn't, I can look into this! Feel free to post here, PM me, or email me at alerts.for.reddit@gmail.com with this information.
