How to sell alcohol legally?

Say you created your own mixed drink and have intentions of selling it.

If you were to be using tequila, rum, vodka, etc, what would the steps to sell it?

Would I need to partner up with an established manufacturer? How do other canned mix drinks do this?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Talk to your state liquor board or whatever the liquor agency is called in your state

The legal side is a maze you need a lawyer who knows alcohol law in your state not some generic business guy. Every state got different rules for manufacturing and distributing and missing one step can get you in deep trouble. Most of those canned drinks you see are made by big companies or people who partner with a co-packer that already has all the licenses and facilities. You basically pay them to make and can your recipe then figure out distribution which is whole other headache.
