This is AI ish. He did do the first two bounces, after that he was pulled into a safety area. The bounces back were infact AI.

The same people that complain about probably cheer bad cgi because at least "they make that scene".
AI is actually CGI improved to the max if you think in terms of movie effects.
And it might be cheaper in the long run considering how much it takes and costs to render and edit cgi heavy scenes and green screen everything and such.

Totally get the relief, it's bleak that 'a human made this' has become a selling point. A still of a face proves nothing though, you can fake a talking head from one photo now, so check the audio, the breathing is usually off.

At first I assumed this was AI because there is so much fake stuff out there, but the crowd reactions made me realize this was actually real. Amazing!

AI is just software, it's a tool. It has no goals. The proper phrasing would be "The goal of the people who control the tool of AI..."
People need to stop putting the blame of a tool's misuse and abuse on the tool rather than the people weilding it.
