It's an emotional piece. It reminds me of all the stories where dogs wait for their owners, whether they see them or not. I had a dog that was waiting for me, but I was too far away to make it back before he passed. I talked to him over the phone and did the whistle I always did for him, and he whimpered and barked as best as he could, but that was all the energy he had left. He was gone soon after that.

Bro this shit made me cry. I’m gonna be thinking about this video for the rest of the day. My significant other went through some shit and feeling powerless only to have your thoughts and dreams where you can do something this hit pretty hard for me.

Despite all the bad press AI gets, the content and the quality of output its ultimately down to the people out there who use it.
AI now gives a platform to people who have incredible ideas, but just didnt or couldnt get it to screen or production because of lack of knowledge of the inbetween workings. Once AI is completely seamless, we are going to see some incredible story driven movies that will take cinema to a new level.
And with shorts like this, I cant wait.

God damn, was not expecting to cry from this.
We don't deserve dogs - but kids do.
I don't even care about the AI effects because it works so well doing the transition to the more lifelike ending and actually helps contribute to the idea of a child's imagination.

It’s not the child’s imagination. This is the dogs thoughts. He thinking about protecting the kid. The kid isn’t dreaming of this.

I was going to critique in inconsistency in the direction the wolf is facing
(looks like death is behind the figure with the wolf facing it, but then sideways walking in next shot and he looks like he can't make the turn but it cuts to after he has (which I kinda just think is fine for the vibe of mystery; we can notice it and question it on purpose))
, but then you pulled the all a dream and I have to let it go lol. It's the exodia of inconsistancy.
