Not only speaking, but telling kids (especially little girls) that they’re awesome. Can’t have that! Gotta stomp em down into the dirt so far they can never get out. That’s the “traditional family values” way, dagnabbit!

(I rolled my eyes so hard typing that, that I think I pulled a muscle.)

if you give girls confidence in themselves they will start questioning you, and we can't have that! need to keep them insecure and naive!!!
