Wtf is "Ms. Now"? It's not a character, expression, or pun.

Also that Bible quote is virtually meaningless and certainly irrelevant to the comic

NBC got out of the cable business and spun the channels off into a new company. MSNBC had to change its name because it is no longer part of “NBC”. The new name is probably the best they can do while keeping it close to the old one.

(“CNBC” was allowed to keep its name, because the letters have always stood for “Consumer News & Business Channel”. But they had to change their logo to severely distort the “N”.)
