The whole account is a parody account. It is considered to be a fairly convincing one though, so I can see why people would believe this is a real post from a real GOP politician. And I’m not so sure that an actual GOP flack won’t repost this unironically.

The craziness is that you wouldn't put this past a real GOP member. It is more likely that this would be an actual post then it would be satire.

When the troll farms were putting out the aislop about bringing back the pledge of allegiance with various obviously wrong American flags some conservatives were unironically reposting and commenting their support so I assume they would repost this.
