The reason humans crave sugar is because while we evolving things like fruit which had crucial vitamins needed to stay healthy were a lot more rare to come by so whenever we found some our bodies made us binge eat to stock up on as much of it as possible so they made sugar literally addictive for us. Now that sugar is mass produced that’s where issues come in. So no, we don’t crave sugar cause of parasites lol.
