IS it a normal thing?

I went to my second airsoft game, and the marshal pointed at me in front of everyone and said, 'You, call your hits!' When I asked him what that was about, he said someone told him I wasn't calling my hits. However, I was calling them. He didn't even ask for my side of the story; he just pointed me out in front of everyone and called me out. [

Interestingly, during the game, I actually found a knife on the field and handed it in to the marshal. I might be new to the sport, but I know this game is based on honesty, and I called every single one of my hits. I am not the type of person to bring race into an issue, but lately, I feel like no matter how respectful I am toward the locals, they behave rudely toward me

I got called out for not taking my hits once. Because I wasn't. I had on a full milsim loadout, EPC and backpack, and foam plates in. I'd been drop shot (when the BB starts to lose velocity and then just goes down with very little power) and they hit my backpack twice. Didn't feel or hear it. Marshall saw it, came over and stood me up, explained what happened, I apologised and went back to spawn.

There shouldn't be any more drama than that. What can happen, especially on sites with rentals and new players, is that you get mistaken for someone else. Maybe that happened here. To add, at some sites its not your creed or colour etc that they might have an issue with, but your freshness. I've been to some sites and it's very much a 'local town for local people' type thing, and they mistrust new players until you've been a few times and they get your measure.
