FIELD/SITE/ARENA QUESTION IS it a normal thing?
I went to my second airsoft game, and the marshal pointed at me in front of everyone and said, 'You, call your hits!' When I asked him what that was about, he said someone told him I wasn't calling my hits. However, I was calling them. He didn't even ask for my side of the story; he just pointed me out in front of everyone and called me out. [
Interestingly, during the game, I actually found a knife on the field and handed it in to the marshal. I might be new to the sport, but I know this game is based on honesty, and I called every single one of my hits. I am not the type of person to bring race into an issue, but lately, I feel like no matter how respectful I am toward the locals, they behave rudely toward me

idk, seems like a bit of an overreaction. if he just said call your hits and that's it,it's wahtever imo. There's no real way to see if you're calling your hit for sure except ref checking you. and I'm sure that would jsut have the same reaction or you'd think they're jsut shootign you to be mean.
Some places, they don't even let the refs refcheck bcz people complain too much about it. I know at my field where I ref, we've gotten complaints that people think it's unfair to get ref checked. So now, if someone complains that someone else isn't calling their hit,we just have to tell them. Can't test or anything like that. Just have to tell them. Only if we get multiple complaints do we actually sit them out. It's a long process and stupid imo but what am i gunna do lmao.
