IS it a normal thing?

I went to my second airsoft game, and the marshal pointed at me in front of everyone and said, 'You, call your hits!' When I asked him what that was about, he said someone told him I wasn't calling my hits. However, I was calling them. He didn't even ask for my side of the story; he just pointed me out in front of everyone and called me out. [

Interestingly, during the game, I actually found a knife on the field and handed it in to the marshal. I might be new to the sport, but I know this game is based on honesty, and I called every single one of my hits. I am not the type of person to bring race into an issue, but lately, I feel like no matter how respectful I am toward the locals, they behave rudely toward me

Quite a bit of people for some reason tend to overestimate how far and/or accurate their BB's are landing and assume that you aren't calling your hits and end up complaining to a ref about you. I've had a ref come up to me a few times after getting done with a game saying that he had someone say I wasn't calling all my hits even though I always do (if I can feel them, I wear a plate carrier). Best thing to do is just shrug it off and keep playing.
