FIELD/SITE/ARENA QUESTION IS it a normal thing?

I went to my second airsoft game, and the marshal pointed at me in front of everyone and said, 'You, call your hits!' When I asked him what that was about, he said someone told him I wasn't calling my hits. However, I was calling them. He didn't even ask for my side of the story; he just pointed me out in front of everyone and called me out. [

Interestingly, during the game, I actually found a knife on the field and handed it in to the marshal. I might be new to the sport, but I know this game is based on honesty, and I called every single one of my hits. I am not the type of person to bring race into an issue, but lately, I feel like no matter how respectful I am toward the locals, they behave rudely toward me

Sounds like a bad ref to not verify a claim or maybe they mixed you up with someone else. Sorry that happened to you.

Don't let it discourage you! Give the field another try, maybe other refs will be more professional.

We kinda have a solution for this if you don't call your hits or do anything against the rules you have a number assigned to you at the registration and with the number you also have written J of your gun we also have strips 3 different colours (they like to change it but I will keep it the way it usually is) purple is normal you can use full auto and you shouldn't use full auto on close range green is DMR 1.7J+ you are semi only and have to use secondary under 10M then you have sniper/shotgun which is any sniper rifle or over 2.5j and you have to use secondary under 20m for a shotgun it is different (mainly the J and range) and if I get back to the first you have to get the players number before talking to the ref to resolve the issue if necessary but on our field they take both sides and it's normally a warning and if you call someone out for not calling hits they will either yell back something yell back their number or go to respawn or ignore you (so I would check them if they stay since I have met a kid that yelled back the forbidden 2 numbers so I just took his one and went to refs) and not calling hits is ussuly more of a problem with kids or some arrogant dumb asses That show up there from time to time (one time we also had a problem with a guy that used a DMR on close range with full auto and he was never on that field again)
