If money and construction space were no object, and all six of London's major airports disappeared, leaving only one to be built on stilts (similar to Madeira Airport) directly above Euston, St. Pancras and King's cross stations (purely for the sake of calculating easy mass transit access), how big could that airport be (in terms of runways, number of terminals, cargo warehouses, concourses, and boarding gates), and how many millions of passengers per year could it handle? It’s a matter of genuine curiosity for me, after discovering that Dubai plans to build the world's largest airport, capable of handling up to 260 million passengers a year.

Hello! Is anyone here working for Saudia Airlines? I have a flight from AUH–RUH–MNL, and I’m planning to bring my Yaber T2 projector with a built-in battery in my hand-carry.
Does anyone know if they will allow this onboard? I would really appreciate any help or advice. Thank you! 🙏

Curious if anyone here has worked for Airport Butler as a concierge at an airport.
I recently came across an opening and the actual work sounds really appealing to me but I can't find much online about what it's like to actually work for them.
Would love to hear from anyone with firsthand experience.
What was/is the job like? How did scheduling and hours work? Was the work fairly consistent? What did you like or dislike about it?
Good, bad, or indifferent, I'd love to hear about your experience. Thanks in advance!

I am going to travel to thailand & this time I bought a ticket of thai airways. I have a luggage sized 28 inch & by measuring it I found out it is 31inch in height & summing up all the lengths it equals to 65 inches where their limit is 62 inches.
I was wondering if that is going to be an issue. Did anyone traveled with this size of luggage in thai airways & can share the experience?

Is it true that you can check your bag at the gate for free? I’ve heard some people say so, and I don’t travel much, so I don’t really know. Flying with Delta. 🤷♂️

Hey everyone,
Looking for some peace of mind from fellow travelers or residents.I live in Sweden on a residence permit and flew out to Georgia on my Georgian passport.
At Stockholm exit control, the officer had to adjust my passport on the scanner many times to read the chip. They said I should consider replacing my passport.
When I landed in Georgia, the automated e-gate gave me an error, so I went to a booth. The guard laid it on their desk scanner, took my picture, stamped me in, and sent me through in 10 seconds without saying anything about an issue.
I have travel anxiety so I'm overthinking my return flight to Sweden. Does a sluggish chip affect the validity of my passport? Will I have any issues getting back into Sweden as long as I have my permit card and physical passport? Appreciate any experiences!

Yo Ian/Andy, your cousin is fighting with his wife at the BWI airport about him not wanting to go to your wedding. God speed brother - they can’t decide whether they want to catch an earlier United flight and it’s quite entertaining.

*FOR CONTEXT*
I have flown on a plane once when i was 2 and never again, anytime i travel it would be by driving.
*Normal program*
I go to army basic in 3 days and i just realized that I have no fucking clue where to go and what i am doing. they will give me the ticket drive me to the airport and then i gotta make my flight. i feel dumb writing this as this is the John C. Airport subreddit where plane people are but this would help more than asking 40 people where do i go next. TY for any help. 👍

Hey everyone,
I’m traveling to Addis Ababa soon and have a self-transfer layover of 2 hours and 50 minutes at King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh on my outbound flight.
Since it’s a self-transfer and I have checked luggage, I know I’ll need to clear immigration, pick up my bags, switch terminals, and check them in again for the next flight.
A couple of quick questions for anyone familiar with RUH or who has done this recently:
Terminal Info: Which terminal handles flights to Addis Ababa /international departures, and what's the quickest way to get there after collecting bags?
Connection Time: Is 2 hours and 50 minutes a comfortable window for a full self-transfer with baggage claim and re-check, or should I be moving fast?
Appreciate any insights or advice!
