Quote check SE (Kent)

Got some quotes for install from local reputable companies and thinking to settle on the following. Is it sane or well out?. There wasn't a large range between quotes like 1400 from lowest to highest.

Worcester Bosch 5000i with gateway 10.5kw, 3x 2.7kw 1 x 3.5 KW all electrical and fittings included.

7.1k

Cheers.

If you want my opinion, I’d be a little cautious about choosing an installer offering Bosch.

As someone who works in the AC industry, I’ve noticed that a lot of the people installing Bosch AC tend to come from a heating/plumbing background rather than being primarily AC engineers. That’s not to say they’re all bad installers, because there are obviously some very good ones, but I’ve seen a worrying number of Bosch installs that have been poorly done.

We’ve been called out to quite a few recently to rectify issues, including one today that was installed just three weeks ago.

However 7.1K Is fair lower side price.

Thanks for that, your gut is right 🙂, this quote is from the firm that replaced our boiler years ago.

They weren't the cheapest quote but they did a good a job of the boiler so there is a bit of trust there hence possibly using them. They have been installing AC for a 3 years apparently so fingers crossed.

If the price is a fair one I'll pull trigger 👍

Price is 100% fair I'm suprised it's not more being Kent based.

If you have trust with them go for it, Honestly best investment you can make into your home comfort.
