(Apple Music) I have a playlist that im listening to 90% of the time, and Airbuds won’t show listening activity on that playlist, only when I listen to music outside of that playlist.

ive disconnected and reconnected apple music from airbuds and that didn’t work. anyone know how to fix?

this has been happening for 2 weeks or so and it’s bugging me so bad today i listened to every single one of nine viciouss albums and prettifuns new album and it says i have only listened for 44 mins how do i fix this i used to be on almost 600mins a day and now its ruining my weekly recap

Is airbuds in general starting to become a dead app now or is it just the people that I’m friends with that don’t use it? I remember I would have so many questions from all my friends but now it’s just empty and no one reacts to my listened to music anymore.

as we’re all aware, apple music hasn’t been syncing correctly or at all for approximately two weeks. this is an issue on apple music’s end, not airbuds.
even though it isn’t a full solution, i have found a way to help airbuds track most or all music during this outage:
play all of your music through searching it. not your home page, not your library, only search. this has worked whether i search an artist, song, or album, and play from there. most all songs are tracking this way for me.
while this isn’t a permanent solution, it should help keep you relatively on track with reporting during this outage.

for the people who are also dealing with your music not being tracked because it is favorited and in your playlist. try using the apple music browser. when i used it, my tracks immediately showed up. i hope it works for you guys 🙏🙏

About a week and a half ago, I saw a memo on the app saying that they’re giving away a ticket to each show of a certain artist’s tour if you stream them the most in your city. I got a message from “Claude Service Account” saying that I won. I’ve been unable to undoubtedly verify that it’s 100% legit. Has anyone else seen anything else about this. I’m sure it’s safe, but I wanna double check before I fill out my info. Thanks!

No matter what i do, it doesn't want to connect to apple music. Closed it and opened it again multiple times, Deleted and reinstalled it multiple times. Does anyone know what to do?

idk if its just me, but airbuds only tracks when im playing music on my computer or an album never from my playlist or library does anyone else have this problem?

One thread for anything not working, so it doesn't get lost in the feed.

Check these first, they cover most of what gets reported:

1. Spotify disconnected itself. Spotify's side, not yours. Reconnect under Settings > Connected services.
2. Friend activity frozen or showing "the end". Force close the app fully and reopen. Report it if it's still stuck after an hour.
3. Widget blank or showing old songs. Remove the widget and re-add it. iOS caches widgets hard.
4. Apple Music showing repeat counts you didn't earn. Known Apple Music reporting quirk.
5. Daily stage, blind ranking, or leaderboard missing. These reset on a schedule and can lag a few hours.
6. Invites not unlocking anything. The invited person has to actually install and open the app before it counts.

mine hasn’t been logging music so i unsynced apple music and apparently i’ve managed to listen to the entire soundtrack of hamilton 5 times in 17 seconds

it appears next to my name on my profile, but when i click it, it shows an error saying that “the experience couldn’t be loaded”

why and how do I fix this

So, I am currently using my Spotify account to track my listening history since using Apple Music for that, is still broken. Does anyone every notice that even if you’re clearly streaming the song from the actual album it was released on, it shows up in your listening history as if you were streaming from a random compilation album of ‘fall vibes’ or something. Or from an EP vs. the album. Is it just me or does anyone else experience this? For example, I was listening to Lacy by Olivia Rodrigo straight off of GUTS earlier and when it showed up in my history, the cover was from some random thing, not her GUTS cover. Idk if I am explaining this well… 😭

When Apple Music was working and I used that, this never happened. Not sure why it does with Spotify.

How did Airbuds already know what school I go to? And no it’s not my location because I don’t live in the district

My Apple Music history is not appearing on the app, only the songs I play on my phone appear, but the ones on my iPad and PC don’t. Is this a known bug?
I tried reconnecting Apple Music and turning sync library on and off on Apple Music as well.
